Okay, I'm doing some cleaning out of extra hardware I have laying around.  I'm either going to build a second system or sell it.  I really don't feel like building anything right now so I thought I'd offer it all of you first before I put it on a couple of other sites.

Item 1 - i7 920 CPU in box w/heatsink that came with it.   I used this about six months then bought my 975.  Nothing wrong with it was running fine when I took it out of my PC.  $120.00

Item 3 - 6 GB of Super Talent DDR3 1333MHz CL8 RAM (3x2gb) $100.00




RAM was running fine when removed from my PC yesterday.  Even though both sets of RAM OC pretty easily I replaced it with some DDR3 2000MHz because it's better suited for OCing my CPU, which is what I'm going to do.  All prices include UPS ground shipping cost.   If you decide you want the CPU, remember you need a LGA1366 socket MB.

I am looking to build a gaming pc. What do you have kicking around? I am looking for a good blueprint to build and would appreciate your advice.  Perhaps using the 17 920 processor and  12 gbs of ram.

Maybe build one and sell it. I will be in the marketin October. Looking to spend about $600. Doesn't need big videocard, or power supply. Just 64bit, windows 7, 1 TB hd, dvd burner. That's it.

those two (CPU and MEM) plus the extras's should put you ~500-600 easy no problem.  Nothing major but would be solid and depending on what you put in it for a graphics card, this should be good for running all.
